TikTok 18+. Content Entertainment

Waste of an App. Account made over a month ago and still cannot follow accounts or like any content. The algorithm is supposed to be good, especially for small businesses and streamers, but it's not possible to use. I've tried multiple different things including clearing cache and storage, logging out and in, deleting the app, signing in on another device etc. Nothing works. Never had an issue like this with any other app.

Love the bookmarking feature and that you can make collections, but since the feature was introduced, the app has grown significantly, and I think it would be beneficial to introduce subfolders within a collection. Like if you have a collection labeled "beauty", you could have "makeup", "nails", "fashion" as sub-collections within. Just since the app has progressed into information-heavy, recommendations, and multi-part content that is likely to be bookmarked.

No one asked for an Ai; no one has the ability to turn it off. No one asked for it to give away my location; no way in app to turn it off. Luckly in my android settings I can do it there for the location but it keeps feeding me more and more accurate "local" feeds when the app 'glitches' me to the page. Give me my old tiktok app back or I'll just leave; done with it all at this point.
